Rod started taking photographs when he was 7 but didn't become a serious photographer until he was 12! He started as a professional wedding photographer when he was 17 but gave it up to pursue another succesful business career.
He continued with serious amateur photography and became one of the best known and most succesful exhibition photographers in Britain. (He is the immediate past President of the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain.)
In 1995 he founded Creative Photography which is now, as Creative Camera, one of the busiest wedding and portrait studios in S.W. Scotland.
